What will you do
In your role as Sourcing Lead, you are responsible for the strategic procurement of materials such as steel, metal, and aluminum. You act as a pivotal figure within the plant leadership team and manage a direct colleague to achieve procurement objectives together.
Your responsibilities:
Leading sourcing activities during the industrialization of new products.
Selecting and nominating suppliers for BOM materials.
Conducting complex negotiations and initiating cost-saving initiatives.
Preparing business cases for make-versus-buy decisions.
Collaborating with global category management for optimal alignment.
Managing supplier data and optimizing internal procurement processes.
Who are you
You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering or business-related field.
You have at least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
You are a strong negotiator with a hands-on mentality and leadership capabilities.
You are fluent in English, both verbal and written.
